Culver Community Middle/High School

Culver Community Boys Basketball had their home opener last night against the West Central Trojans. The JV squad played only 2 quarters with a final score of 18-27. John Carr led the group with 5 points. The Varsity team saw much improvement from their performance against Rochester, however, missed free throws and turnovers seemed to be their pitfall. The Cavaliers shot 8/24 from the line. Despite this, 3 of the Cavs saw themselves in double figures in scoring. Freshman Braylon Jackson led the team with 14 points, followed by both Junior Jonas McCuen and Senior Logan Caudill with 12 points a piece. The final score was 45-67. The Cavaliers find themselves on the road on Friday, December 6th at Lakeland Christian Academy for a Boy/Girl Varsity double header. Girls Varsity starts at 6:00, with Boys Varsity to follow. ~8:00
